I hope you are all having a good memorial day weekend of remembrance and solemnity for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It is a time of gathering with family in remembrance but also the unofficial kick-off for the summer season.
That being said, the CrackerJacks are hoping to be a lot more active this summer. We have a June 17th shoot scheduled and a few more potential events in August and September, all in Pennsylvania. (Yes, September is technically still Summer since the Autumnal Equinox does not happen until Sep 23, 2023 2:49 AM this year!) The board is working to lock in a venue for August, and a September 8th and 9th event is looking pretty solid.
If you have an active CrackerJacks Membership log in and keep an eye on the Events page. If you have been on the fence to renew, maybe having 3 more events in PA will get you back!
Also, as we move into the Fall, we will be having Board Elections. So if you want to play a bigger role in where we have our events, what we do to keep our member-friends engaged, and the club financially stable, please consider joining the Board. In the spirit of service that this holiday evokes, volunteer your time, expertise and experience in making this club the best it can be.
